The Results Are In!

Finding a bra that fits comfortably has been a lifelong challenge for me.

Last week I posted about the NuLife delivery I received and my initial impressions about the Mastectomy bra I was eager to try.  (you can watch my video at the link above)

Since then I have worn it three time.  My high hopes have not been disappointed.

I wanted to ensure that my opinion was formed not on a solo trial, but after multiple occasions.  I also wanted to ensure that I had at least one full day in the Amoena.  Because I am a runner it is not uncommon for me to be changing into a sports bra at some point during the day.  That could mask issues that would only be evident after a morning-till-night wearing of a bra.  I have had two such days of over 12 hours of wear.

Much to my delight, my long standing issues seem to have been resolved.  As I explained in the above-referenced video, I have always had two major problems with every bra I’ve owned

  1. The bottom band digs in under my implant
  2. Being right side effected with no pec muscle, the shoulder strap has always dug into my armpit creating pain, discomfort and leaving me with a mark by the end of the day.

The Amoena has a wider bottom band.  It seemed to spread the tension more evenly and never once did I feel like it was digging in.  No mark was left on my rib at the end of the day.

The shoulder straps are also wider than the average bra.  It too avoided any digging in and left no mark at the end of the day.

All in all, the Amoena did what a bra is supposed to do: offer support and remain undetected.  I went morning till night without any thought about my undergarment.  It fit snugly and comfortably.  I did not need to make any readjustments during the day and for the first time ever, I non-sports bra without any pain.

I am highly pleased and without hesitation recommend anyone to check out the Amoena and other products from NuLife.  Head to the resource page for more information about NuLife medical and the products Lisa and her team specifically recommend for Poland Syndrome.

Finding a bra that fits well can make such a difference in one’s self-confidence, especially for developing teens.  I wish I had better options during those years to make the struggle a little more bearable and in my early adult years to make clothing less of a challenge.  But I am glad I have this resource now.

I hope you find this helpful and would love to hear your feedback if you purchase through NuLife.
