The frustration of finding the right bra

Alright men, for all the trouble you have due to Poland Syndrome, let me give you something to be thankful for…you don’t have the daunting task of finding the right bra!!

Ladies, this is a challenge, is it not?

If you have had reconstructive surgery it can be so difficult to find a bra that:

  1. is comfortable
  2. natural looking

If you have not had surgery it is still a challenge to find a bra that is comfortable and natural looking.

I am currently in contact with a number of specialty bra folks.  My hope is to have a handful of companies that I can recommend to you to eliminate this aspect of life from being an ongoing challenge.

Check back here for this and other resources.

  1. Joyce Ann Czarny says:

I have PS. I have never had a bra that really fit. And before reconstruction, I made bra inserts out of toilet tissue and a plastic bag. Thank god for baby powder.
    btw … it was humiliating.

    1. That is some MacGuyer ingenuity — female style.

Check back in about a week — I’ll be putting up a post about bras. I’ve been in touch with a family-run business that makes specialty bras.
